Nintendo has announced that the Virtual Boy library is joining Nintendo Classics for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, bringing the handheld’s stereoscopic 3D-inspired games to modern hardware. The collection launches with classic Virtual Boy titles and will expand further on Aug. 4 with the official release of two previously unreleased games, D-HOPPER and Zero Racers, giving players the chance to experience long-lost Virtual Boy projects for the first time through the Nintendo Switch Online service.
