PokéXciting! will kick off Pokémon’s 30th anniversary celebration at KLCC Park in Kuala Lumpur on Sept. 12-13, 2026, with Pokémon GO players able to encounter the new PokéXciting! Pikachu (Turquoise) featuring a local Location Background. The event will offer two GO Stamp Rallies, including the cross-region rally with stamps from five Asia-Pacific cities and a KLCC Park-exclusive rally featuring Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Pikachu and Vileplume designs, with each completed rally providing an encounter with the event Pikachu. Additional Pokémon GO activities include two free Timed Research tracks, Field Research, boosted encounters, Gigantamax Battles featuring Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, 2× XP from spinning PokéStops, half Stardust costs for trades, two additional Special Trades, one-hour Lure Modules, increased catch Candy and a special map effect. The KLCC Park Pokémon GO booth will also offer a special sticker, photo opportunities and a free photobooth photo for visitors who collect at least three of six available stamps, while the wider PokéXciting! celebration will feature a Pokémon-themed drone show, stage performances, merchandise and family activities.
