Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players can take on a powerful Kingambit in special black crystal Tera Raid Battles from Aug. 28 through Sept. 3 at 11:59 p.m. UTC. The event Kingambit has a Dark Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark, making it a formidable challenge for teams of Trainers, while a separate series of mass outbreaks will feature Pawniard, Bisharp and Kingambit across Paldea and Kitakami. Pawniard and Bisharp will appear in Paldea, while all three species can be found in Kitakami, with Pokémon bearing the Charismatic Mark and the title “The Radiant” appearing more frequently during the outbreaks. The special Kingambit can only be caught once per save data, though players who have already captured it can continue battling it for additional rewards, and Nintendo notes that the Pokémon could return in future events or become available through other methods. Players must download the latest Poké Portal News to access the limited-time content, while those who have not unlocked black Tera Raid crystals through the required postgame events can still join other Trainers in multiplayer battles.
