Armored Mewtwo is returning to Pokémon GO for Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale, marking the special Mewtwo’s first appearance in the game since 2020. Armored Mewtwo will appear in five-star raids on Sept. 5 and 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time as part of the two-day Mega Finale event. The return was announced during the 2026 Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco, but Shiny Armored Mewtwo will not be available. The armored form of Mewtwo was introduced in the 2019 film Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back – Evolution.
