Nintendo has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be featured in The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct on Sept. 8, with the previously revealed Nintendo Switch 2 remake positioned as the presentation’s headline game. The 30-minute Direct will begin at 7 a.m. PT and feature a variety of Zelda-related information, giving Nintendo its first dedicated showcase for the remake since its official reveal earlier this year. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is scheduled to launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026, with Nintendo yet to announce its specific release date or provide a full look at the remake’s gameplay.
