Pokémon GO City Safari: Boston will take over the city on Sept. 26 and 27, giving Trainers two days to explore Boston, collect Pokémon and complete event-exclusive activities from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. Trainers can explore nine themed zones spanning Beacon Hill, the North End, Back Bay, the Financial District, Seaport, Fenway-Kenmore, the Black Heritage Trail, Cambridge and Charlestown and Malden, with City Safari PokéStops and Gyms available throughout the city. A GO Stamp Rally will also challenge Trainers to collect up to eight stamps, with each completed stamp rewarding an encounter with Eevee wearing an explorer hat and a chance to find a Shiny. A limited-time City Trainer Lounge will operate at Copley Square at 560 Boylston Street from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days, offering a place to rest and community activities, while limited giveaways will be distributed to Trainers who check in to the Campfire meetup. Trainers arriving early can also attend a Pokémon GO-themed Boston Red Sox game on Sept. 25, where they can spin a PokéStop for an avatar item, follow an Official Route and participate in Raid Battles with a chance to encounter Pikachu with a Location Background. Ticket holders must be physically present in Boston during their designated event time to access the exclusive City Safari gameplay, while the in-person activities are open to everyone.
