Pokémon GO’s Sandile Hatch Day will take place Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, giving Trainers more opportunities to hatch Sandile from 2 km Eggs and encounter its Shiny form. The event will include double Hatch Candy, half Egg Hatch Distance, an increased chance of receiving 2 km Eggs from PokéStops and free event-exclusive Timed Research offering an Incubator and XP. The research must be completed and its rewards claimed by 5 p.m. local time on the event date. Trainers can also purchase paid Timed Research for $1.99, which includes a quarter Egg Hatch Distance bonus, Stardust-focused tasks, a Star Piece, two Super Incubators and additional rewards, although ticket availability may vary by region.
