Pokémon Pokopia will host the limited-time Pumpkaboo’s Sweet Surprises event from Oct. 17 at 5 a.m. through Nov. 1 at 4:59 a.m. local time, introducing a spooky activity centered on Pumpkaboo and Pumpkin Candy. During the event, Pumpkaboo will appear near rebuilt Pokémon Centers and players can befriend them while collecting Pumpkin Candy by using Camouflage, a move learned from Zorua at Bleak Beach, to disguise themselves as objects and surprise Pokémon. The candy can be exchanged at Pokémon Centers for event-themed furniture and decorations designed to create a habitat that appeals to Gourgeist, Pumpkaboo’s Evolution. Both Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist will remain in town after the event ends, giving players continued access to the Pokémon beyond the limited-time festivities.
