Pokémon GO has launched its Pokémon 30th Anniversary Mall Exploration collaboration, giving Trainers at participating malls in Asia access to event-themed Timed Research, special PokéStops and encounters with Pikachu wearing a party hat. The event is now underway in Malaysia and the Philippines, with additional locations planned across Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand. Trainers who visit a participating mall can receive Timed Research featuring encounters with Pikachu wearing a party hat and other event-themed Pokémon, although the research can only be claimed once at any participating mall and expires 10 days after it is received. Limited-time PokéStops at participating venues also offer special Postcards that can be kept or sent to friends, while Lure Modules will remain active for four hours within designated event areas. The current schedule includes Ombak KLCC in Malaysia from Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, SM Mall of Asia in the Philippines from Oct. 1 through Jan. 31, 2027, followed by SM East Ortigas, SM Southmall, SM North EDSA, SM Marikina, SM Seaside Cebu, SM Davao and SM CDO Downtown through March 2027, while Changi Airport and Jewel in Singapore begin Nov. 7 and run into 2027.
