Pokémon GO City Safari: Boston rescheduled as global event for ticket holders

Pokémon GO City Safari: Boston has been rescheduled following severe weather in the greater Boston area, with the event now taking place primarily as a global experience for existing ticket holders on Oct. 24 and Oct. 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time each day. The wild encounters and event bonuses originally planned for Boston will be available worldwide during those hours, while the planned Eevee explorer hat Special Research has been replaced by Timed Research featuring encounters with Flabébé (Orange Flower), Hawlucha, Mudbray and Komala along with branching weekend bonuses. Ticket holders will also receive supplementary Special Research requiring PokéStop spins in Boston to earn up to nine encounters with Eevee wearing an explorer hat and carrying a Boston Location Background, with one research opportunity available per ticketed day and access to claim the research anywhere in the world through Oct. 23, 2028. The Boston GO Stamp Rally will not be part of the rescheduled experience, and only current ticket holders can participate. Trainers who want a refund must contact in-app support by Oct. 20 at 11:59 p.m. EST, but refunded tickets will no longer provide access to the Oct. 24 and Oct. 25 gameplay, cannot be repurchased and will result in all tickets and add-ons associated with the purchaser’s order being refunded.
