Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have brought back the powerful Salamence with the Mightiest Mark in 7-star black crystal Tera Raid Battles, available from Oct. 9 at 12 a.m. UTC through Oct. 15 at 11:59 p.m. UTC. The featured Salamence has a Flying Tera Type and poses a formidable challenge for Trainers, who can team up with up to three other players to defeat it before time runs out. Players can catch this special Salamence only once per save file, so those who previously caught it during an earlier event will be unable to catch another, although they can still participate in raids for additional rewards. Trainers must download the latest Poké Portal News through the Mystery Gift menu to access the event, and players who have not unlocked black Tera Raid crystals through postgame progression can still join other Trainers in multiplayer. The event takes place in the Paldea region, with online multiplayer requiring a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
