Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players can challenge Tyranitar with the Mightiest Mark in 7-star black crystal Tera Raid Battles from Oct. 2 at 12 a.m. UTC through Oct. 8 at 11:59 p.m. UTC. The featured Tyranitar has Ghost as its Tera Type, making it a formidable opponent that requires coordinated teamwork to defeat. Players can catch the special Tyranitar only once per save data, and those who previously caught it during an earlier Tera Raid Battle event will not be able to catch another, although they can continue battling it for additional rewards. Trainers can access the event by downloading the latest Poké Portal News through the Mystery Gift menu, while players who have not unlocked black Tera Raid crystals through the required postgame content can still join the battles through multiplayer. The event is available only in the Paldea region.
