POKÉMON CENTER LAUNCHES NEW FASHION-FORWARD TEAM ROCKET APPAREL COLLECTION

Trainers Can Celebrate the Iconic Villains in Elevated, Streetwear-Inspired Style

Bellevue, Wash. — June 14, 2023 — Today, The Pokémon Company International launched the new Team Rocket HQ Collection of apparel, available online exclusively at Pokémon Center, the premier online destination for official Pokémon merchandise in the U.S., Canada and U.K. Designed in-house, the all-new fashion-forward collection takes inspiration from the infamous Team Rocket, a villainous organization in the Pokémon world.

Known for shaking things up with nefarious scheming and despicable plots, Team Rocket comes to life in a trendy streetwear-inspired collection, a first for Pokémon Center apparel. Featuring relaxed fit, unisex silhouettes and utilitarian details, the pieces in the collection can be mixed and matched to create a wide range of modern outfits that pay homage to Trainers’ favorite villains.

“When designing the Team Rocket HQ Collection, we sought to curate a modern and fashionable collection while remaining true to Team Rocket’s visual identity and attitude,” said Cindy Ruppenthal, senior director of Pokémon Center and ecommerce at The Pokémon Company International. “The new collection allows fans to embody some of the most recognizable Trainers in the Pokémon world with style and confidence.”

The Team Rocket HQ Collection includes shirts, bottoms, hoodies, bags, hats and more featuring Team Rocket’s signature colors — black, white and red — as well as the iconic red R symbol. Each piece is crafted with luxe fabrics and trims, premium graphic applications and unique product details, offering Trainers a bold and elevated addition to their closets or Pokémon collections.

In addition, Trainers in the U.S. and Canada can receive one Team Rocket 20 oz. Mug, while supplies last, with any Pokémon Center order of $149.99 or over containing one or more items from the Team Rocket HQ Collection. The promotion begins today and ends on June 23, 2023[1].
