The importance of friendship has always been a primary theme in Pokemon. There’s truly nothing like the close bond between a Pokemon and its trainer, as demonstrated by Ash and his Pikachu – who’ve been best friends for 20 years now. To all the BFFs out there, happy National Best Friends Day!
