Here’s a fun fact on how Pokemon Sun and Moon starter Rowlet can turn its neck 180 degrees

The Grass Quill Pokemon, Rowlet, can survey its environment and turn its neck nearly 180 degrees from front to back, so it can see directly behind itself. When in battle, it turns its head to face its Trainer when waiting for instructions. Rowlet is one of the three starters in Pokemon Sun and Moon, which are scheduled to launch in November for Nintendo 3DS.
