There’s currently an issue on the Pokemon Global Link (PGL) that’s preventing users from signing in. However, The Pokemon Company is aware of this and is working on getting it fixed as soon as possible – so it should be back up and running in no time. When this issue resolves, you’ll be able to register for the 2016 Pokemon International Challenge if you haven’t done so already.

I activated my account yesterday but I still can’t log into global link. My computer is up to date. I’ve also tried using another computer but still encounter the same problem. FAQs and customer support are not helpful at all. Why is that?

Whenever I try to log in on pokemon-gl it loads the page and come back to the same page with the login tab still there, like if I never logged in.

The username may be case sensitive, so can you try logging in again by taking that into account?

New Issue! Solve this problem!

Web Dev here. Their Form Submit is… bad. They’re using post (fine) but doing a page refresh it appears on submit. Which is… so weird. I have no clue why they’re not using .ajax. OR that could be a back up but they have two different requests for jQuery and that’s mucking up their scripts. Since it’s intermittent. But my question is WHY DO THEY NOT HAVE FRONT END DEVS WHO KNOW THIS????

Dug into their code. They’re loading both jQuery 1.9.0 and 1.10.1 They need to update one of them probably. Having 2 instances of jQuery can make your JavaScript code to act strangely and intermittently. Since the page can work when they get loaded version A then version B but not version B and then version A. That might be the fix.
