Brand-new battle system introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon

An all-new battle format makes its debut in Pokemon Sun and Moon. It’s officially called Battle Royal and is where four players battle against one another simultaneously in an intense melee. Each of the four Trainers chooses three Pokemon and sends one of them into battle at a time. The battle finishes at the end of any turn when all of the Pokemon of one Trainer have fainted. Participants are then ranked and a victor is declared based on the number of Pokemon each Trainer defeated, as well as the number of Pokemon each has remaining in play. You’ll be able to duke it out in Battle Royal when Pokemon Sun and Moon launch on November 18 for Nintendo 3DS.
