Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are officially 10 years old, after having been released exactly a decade ago on September 28, 2006. Both titles were the first core entries in the Pokemon video game series to arrive on Nintendo DS. They introduced several ground-breaking features such as innovative dual-screen play and the resourceful Global Trade System (GTS), allowing Trainers from all around the world to conveniently trade with each other. I personally spent hundreds of hours exploring the Sinnoh region in Pokemon Pearl, which is easily my most-played DS game ever. With Pokemon Sun and Moon launching in less than two months, it’s almost time to embark on another memorable adventure in an all-new region.
Happy 10th Anniversary to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl
