Pokemon GO developer has no current plans to release the updated tracker for everyone

Niantic has confirmed that it is still testing Pokemon GO‘s new tracking system, though it currently has no plans to make it available for all players. “Niantic is still testing a new type of tracking that’s geo-locked to San Francisco,” a representative told Polygon. “At this moment, there is no estimated timeline to potentially rolling it out wider.”
