The latest update for Pokemon GO is now live, bringing the game to version 1.17.0 on iOS and 0.47.1 on Android. Weighing in at 197 MB, the new patch fixes an issue where the Egg-hatching cutscene animation would sometimes be briefly visible from the map view. It also includes minor text fixes, according to developer Niantic. Pokemon GO recently expanded to eight new countries in the Middle East. The popular mobile app won multiple awards at the Golden Joysticks last week.
