Pokemon Sun and Moon sold about 425,000 units in France during their first week on sale. This means that the latest duo of Pokemon games have officially become Nintendo’s biggest launch ever in France. For comparison’s sake, Pokemon X and Y sold 125,000, while Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire sold 180,000 during their first weeks in the region. Pokemon Sun and Moon are also Nintendo’s biggest ever launch in the UK.
