Pokemon fans can now take part in League Cup events in their area to earn Championship Points toward an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships. Participants can also win prizes and other rewards, such as special playmats and promo cards that can’t be earned anywhere else. League Cup competitions are typically smaller than Regional Championships, and they’re ideal for players who want to get more involved in the Championship Series. The League Cup Winter Series is currently happening and will run through January 2017. The Spring Series is scheduled to begin in February, followed by the Summer Series in May.
