The Water/Bug-type Dewpider is one of the new Pokemon that you can encounter in the Alola region of Pokemon Sun and Moon. It crawls onto the land in search of food. Its water bubble allows it to breathe and protects its soft head. It has a unique ability called Water Bubble, which lowers the power of Fire-type moves done to the Pokemon and prevents the Pokemon from getting a burn. In Pokemon Sun and Moon, Dewpider evolves into Araquanid starting at level 22.
