Pokemon Sun and Moon, Pokemon GO and Pokken Tournament are among the 56 games that have received D.I.C.E. nominations. They are up for “Handheld Game of the Year,” “Mobile Game of the Year” and “Fighting Game of the Year,” respectively. Pokemon GO has also been nominated for “Game of the Year” – alongside Battlefield 1, Inside, Overwatch and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Yup – and those who categorized it as a fad thought other franchises would easily overtake Pokemon’s popularity. But they were wrong 🙂
