The Pokémon franchise is among the factors encouraging Ubisoft to support Nintendo Switch. The French video game company has high hopes for the upcoming console, partly due to the impressive sales of Pokémon games. According to Eurogamer’s Tom Phillips, “Ubisoft says it will be supporting Switch strongly and points to high sales of Pokémon games to explain why it believes in Nintendo brand.” Nintendo Switch is set to launch worldwide on March 3. Pokémon Stars is rumored to be coming to the platform.
