At least three big updates are coming to Pokémon GO this year. Speaking during a recent keynote in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress, Niantic CEO John Hanke teased that his team has a trio of “major releases” planned to hit the popular mobile game in 2017 – presumably in addition to the Johto-themed update earlier this month. Although the new content has yet to be revealed, some are speculating that either PvP battles or a new gym system will likely be the first of the three big updates.
