Pokémon Sun and Moon estimated to have sold over 72,000 copies during February in Japan

Famitsu has revealed its Nintendo sales estimates list for February 2017. During the month, Pokémon Sun and Moon are estimated to have sold more than 72,000 copies in Japan. Sales of the latest duo of Pokémon games are only surpassed by Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 Professional, which is also a Nintendo 3DS exclusive. Famitsu’s estimates of the top nine games for February are as follows:

01. Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3 Professional (3DS) – 151,527 (142,761/8,766)
02. Pokémon Sun Moon (3DS) – 72.139 (68,341/3,798)
03. Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS (3DS) – 37,958 (36,463/1,495)
04. Yokai Watch 3: Sukiyaki (3DS) – 37,066 (36,584/482)
05. Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World (3DS) – 33,384 (32,218/1,166)
06. Tobidase Doubutsu no Mori amiibo+ (3DS) – 19,075 (17,646/1,429)
07. Momotaro Dentetsu 2017: Tachiagare Nippon!! (3DS) – 16,277 (14,834/1,443)
08. Miitopia (3DS) – 14,232 (13,067/1,165)
09. Minecraft: Wii U Edition (Wii U) – 13,126 (11,507/1,619)
Notes: Period counted 30 January – 26 February. New entries bolded. First number equals total sales, second is physical (including download cards) and third is digital. Switch games are next month.
