During an interview with Yahoo Esports at E3 2017 this week, Nintendo product marketing manager JC Rodrigo acknowledged that Nintendo recognizes the strong demand for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch. The following excerpts were taken from this particular interview:
Yahoo Esports: Can we expect maybe a possible Smash 4 port for the Switch?
JC Rodrigo: I got nothin’, but I’ll say we do totally recognize that the Smash folks want something like that and I hear you loud and clear – I do – we hear you.
