Despite being more than six years old, the Nintendo 3DS is still a crucial product for Nintendo. One of the reasons why the company plans to support the handheld in 2018 and beyond is because it accounts for more than 50 percent of its entire business, as shown in the annual revenue pie chart above for the latest fiscal year. Nintendo Switch comes in second with 23 percent, followed by Wii U with 13 percent.
