Happy one-year anniversary to Pokémon GO

It’s officially July 6, 2017, in most parts of the world, which means Pokémon GO is celebrating its very first year of availability on iOS and Android devices. Developer Niantic‘s immensely-popular mobile game managed to take the world by storm and became a global phenomenon almost instantly. To celebrate Pokémon GO’s one-year anniversary, Niantic is hosting various events designed to bring players of all ages together, including the first-ever real-world Pokémon GO event – Pokémon GO Fest Chicago – which is scheduled to take place on July 22. Happy anniversary to Pokémon GO and here’s to many more exciting years of catching Pokémon in the real world.
