New Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! rewrites history by ditching Brock And Misty

The latest Pokémon movie, entitled Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, is a re-telling of the Indigo League stories with two glaring omissions. Namely, the absence of Brock and Misty, who were two of Ash’s first cohorts in original anime. Both characters are among Ash Ketchum‘s most well-known friends, with Misty even appearing in the very first episode I Choose You! – after which the new film is named. However, instead of Brock and Misty, there are two other random children – Makoto and Souji – who apparently serve as their replacements. For more on this story, click here.
