Pokémon GO has had its highest revenue in a single day since its viral launch in July 2016, according to market analyst Sensor Tower, and it’s all thanks to Legendary Pokémon. Players spent around $5.8 million on July 23 on iOS, when developer Niantic debuted Articuno and Lugia, the two very first Legendaries available to catch in Pokémon GO. Sensor Tower also found that Pokémon GO is now No. 1 in the Apple App Store top-grossing chart in 23 countries, including the U.S.
