Pokémon GO‘s most recent update implemented a bug that replaces Spark, the leader of Team Instinct, with Team Valor head Candela. Reports that Spark had disappeared from the game’s Appraisal tool first came on July 20, when the update first became available. However, Team Instinct members can rest assured that they haven’t been abandoned. A spokesperson for Niantic has confirmed that Spark will return in the game’s next client update. There’s no timeline on when that will be live yet, but at least we know that the leader of Team Instinct is safe and sound.
