The folks at Game Informer recently had an opportunity to visit Pokémon developer Game Freak‘s studio in Tokyo, Japan, where they got to learn more about Pokémon’s origins and the core games in the series. They also learned about Pokémon creator Satoshi Tajiri’s involvement with modern Pokémon games. The following comes from Game Informer’s Kyle Hilliard:
We did not see him, unfortunately. But we did ask about him and what his role is in the company these days. Masuda says he gets involved creatively when he is interested, but otherwise, “A lot of his time is spent researching various media forms,” to quote Masuda directly.
