TV Tokyo recently revealed the first details on the next episode of the Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon anime. Titled Ash and Nebby! A Mysterious Encounter!!, episode 987 is set to air on October 5 in Japan – following a one-week break on September 28. It consists of Ash finding Nebby, as well as Lusamine visiting her daughter Lillie at the Pokémon School. With this incident, the focus of the anime has shifted a little with the introduction of the Aether Foundation. To coincide with this new direction, a new poster and promo were released.
