Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS are two of the games impacted by the closure of Miiverse on November 8. Nintendo has posted a notice detailing which features would be impacted in both games. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, only one feature will be impacted:
- Sharing screenshots via Miiverse
Nintendo specifies that sharing pictures with friends will still be possible (via Image Share) even after Miiverse has closed down.
In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, more features will be impacted:
- Sharing screenshots taken during gameplay (including sharing via Miiverse, and with friends)
- Sharing of stages created in Stage Builder (including sharing with friends)
- Uploading replay videos to YouTube
- Creation of Normal Tourneys.
