Pokémon and Satoshi Tajiri feature in Final Jeopardy! round

A recent episode of the long-running game show Jeopardy! includes a major Nintendo and Pokémon-related reference in the form of a Final Jeopardy! question, which asks contestants to name “the desire in his childhood to catch every insect inspired Satoshi Tajiri to create this 1996 game.” The correct answer, of course, is Pokémon – but only one of the three contestants managed to get it right.
