Pokémon fan composes non-spooky version of the infamous Lavender Town theme

A talented Pokémon fan has composed his own rendition of what he calls the non-spooky version of the infamous Lavender Town them from Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow. You can check out his recreation in the video below, followed by its description:

What if, instead of being associated with sorrow and ghosts, Lavender Town was a place to remember lost loved ones, and come to terms with grief? Here’s my attempt to depict that musically, taking the track’s original motives and developing them with an EWI choir.

This was a fun experiment for me, so I’d love to hear your feedback. Should I try taking other tracks and turning minor tracks major, or vice-versa? Let me know!

This track uses patches 15, 21, and 25 of the inbuilt sounds of the Akai EWI 4000s.
