Pokémon GO developer Niantic will inevitably raise the level cap past 40

Some of the most dedicated Pokémon GO players have reached level 40 several months ago. Although 40 is currently the peak, this won’t be the case for much longer. According to IGN executive editor and avid Pokémon GO fan Andrew Goldfarb, developer Niantic will inevitably raise the level cap past 40. There’s currently no word on when exactly this will happen, but stay tuned for any updates.
