Kyogre has officially begun appearing in Raid Battles around the world in Pokémon GO. Be sure to keep an eye out for the Water-type Legendary Pokémon at Pokémon GO Gyms near you. Kyogre will only be available until 1 p.m. PST on February 14, 2018. The Legendary Groudon is also currently available but only until January 15. A number of players have noticed that Kyogre is proving to be a very tricky Pokémon to catch; it may very well be hardest Legendary to date in Pokémon GO. Regardless, Niantic wants to know if you prefer to be on Team Kyogre or Team Groudon; be sure to let the developer know on Twitter by participating in the embedded tweet below:

To better prepare for Raid Battles against Kyogre, Groudon and other powerful Pokémon, you can now purchase special boxes containing Premium Raid Passes in the form of Special, Great and Ultra Boxes. Get them while you can in the in-game shop, as these boxes will only be available until January 22 in the in-game shop, so get them while you still can!
