Pokémon GO developer Niantic telling fans to stock up on Poké Balls and make space in Pokémon Storage for surfing Pikachu

For the first Pokémon GO Community Day tomorrow January 20, Trainers will be able to catch a Pikachu that knows Surf. In addition, during Community Day hours, Lure Modules will last for three hours and other bonuses will be activated. This inaugural Community Day will give Trainers the chance to earn double XP during event hours. Niantic wants players to wear their team color during tomorrow’s event, representing Team Instinct, Team Mystic or Team Valor. The developer is also reminding prospective participants to grab free Trainer Level Badges at participating Sprint stores across the U.S. You might want to stock up on Poké Balls and make space in your Pokémon Storage for surfing Pikachu before the event goes live.
