Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon players are now battling using Pokémon from the entire National Pokédex in the 2018 International Challenge January Online Competition, which is officially underway. This is the first Online Competition where Trainers will use the 2018 Championship Series rules. The competition goes until today, January 28, 2017, at 23:59 UTC. The top players in each age division will receive Championship Points, which contribute toward the chances of earning an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships. Players must be opted in to the Play! Pokémon program and have a Player ID at the time the competition began to be eligible for Championship Points. All qualified competitors will also receive 50 Battle Points. To qualify, eligible players must earn a place in the rankings by completing at least three battles.
