Pokémon GO developer Niantic has hired its first editorial role, Lauren Hockenson, who could be working on Pokémon GO’s new storyline and quests features. This new system, which has yet to be officially announced, will give a more prominent role to Professor Willow. In-game human characters will also be given animations for the first time in the form of character expressions for being upset and happy.
