According to Pokémon GO developer Niantic, every Pokémon you encounter in the wild will be one originally discovered in the Hoenn region until February 13. However, Tauros can still be spotted in the wild in Pokémon GO, as shown in the captured screenshot above. This shouldn’t be the case, as Tauros is a Pokémon that was originally discovered in the Kanto region. Niantic has yet to address this, but stay tuned for any updates.
