Nintendo has announced plans to permanently end the Nintendo Zone service in Europe. The Nintendo 3DS app will no longer be usable as of Wednesday, March 28, 2018. A number of Pokémon distributions were made available via Nintendo Zone, so future plans regarding this aspect have yet to be revealed. The official announcement about the upcoming closure is as follows:
