The Pokémon Company recently teamed up with the Singapore Police Force for an extensive Crime Prevention Campaign 2018. This campaign kicked off on March 10 and ran through March 18 at the Jurong Point Shopping Centre in Singapore. Participants took part in a meet-and-greet session with Pikachu, various carnival games and educational booths. The campaign was launched by Jurong police division commander and Assistant Commissioner of Police Koh Wei Keong, along with Susumu Fukunaga, corporate officer of The Pokémon Company. It is underscored by three key messages that are included in notebooks, folders and car decals that were given away at the booths. The messages are:
- Don’t take dimly lit shortcuts
- Don’t buy counterfeit goods; and
- Don’t use your mobile phone while driving.
