Pokémon Daisuki Club shares pictures of Slowpoke merch from the extensive April Fools’ campaign

Slowpoke recently took over the Kagawa Prefecture in Japan, as part an extensive April Fools’ Day gag from last month. This was a collaboration between The Pokémon Company and Kagawa Prefecture that ran until April 30. The Kagawa Prefecture was referred to as the Slowpoke Prefecture, where increased spawns of wild Slowpoke were featured in Pokémon GO. There was also a special Pokémon GO AR Photo Contest and chances to meet and take photos with the giant Slowpoke mascot in person. A temporary Pokémon Center also opened at Takamatsu Station, which sold Slowpoke and other Pokémon merchandise during the campaign period.
