During the Pokémon 2018 Video Game Press Conference, Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda gave fans a tease at the next major project in development. He appeared on stage to let fans know that a new Pokémon core RPG, developed by Game Freak, is planned for launch on Nintendo Switch in late 2019. Nintendo has also confirmed that Game Freak is simultaneously developing another core RPG entry in the Pokémon series, slated to be released for Nintendo Switch in late 2019. More details about this highly-anticipated project will be revealed at a later date.
