The 1,000th episode of Pokémon the Series aired earlier this year in the U.S. Chronicling the ongoing adventures of Ash and Pikachu alongside their many companions, the iconic animated television series that premiered nearly 20 years ago has taken viewers to a variety of different regions, islands, cities and towns in the Pokémon world. The 1,000th episode is part of the latest season, Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Adventures, set in the tropical Alola region.
