You no longer have to switch between Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard if you play as Pokémon Trainer in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

The Pokémon Trainer fighter, which made his debut in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, is officially returning to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch – complete with a female alternative costume featuring Leaf. In Brawl, players had to switch between the character’s three Pokémon – Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard – as each one would get tired and gradually perform worse as a result. However, you can rest assured that this is no longer the case in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which allows you to take control of each one for as long as you’d like without any penalty. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches on December 7 for Nintendo Switch.
